Baking sheets here- got a bunch when the guys next door ditched
the steel ones for aluminum. The steeel ones work great.
But you want the commercial things- they're like 18x32 or something huge.

      Great ideas guys.

My car is an i, I wasn't aware I could rotate the filter housing and have the cooler lines still reach and all, I'll take a closer look.

The big cookie sheet things like at parts stores are great, I have one at my Dad's in Ohio, but I have nowhere to store one here at my place in CA.

I would consider a remote oil filter kit, I have plenty of room under the hood for it, but living in California I fear it may not be legal and I don't need any hassles. If I can't have a fuel pressure gauge I'm pretty sure i can't have a remote oil filter.

I think my best bet is to find the right funnel that fits in there, and talk to my buddy about doing my oil changes at the shop he works at when he's there working off hours.

If you removed the ac compressor the oil filter housing can rotate the opposite way. Oil filter relocation has nothing to do with smog so I don't see why it would be a hassle

            The Red 46 one.

I didn;t think a fuel pressure gauge would effect smog either, but people told me to ditch the one that came on my car before I tried to go through. I may consider putting my oil filter up in the battery tray, I imagine I may want it in my long-term 24v plans as well.
