    rtv is fine, you need less than you think it goes alooong way when it gets squished

      I use Permatex Anaerobic Gasket Maker 51813 for my water pump. The po used some shit orange rtv that failed in a year.

        I tend to find that blue RTV is a prevalent infestation of the residents of salvage yards.

        I Use grey or Ford RTV for O2 sensor safe sealing, and permatex high temp for post cat exhaust sealing.
