    Aux Fan Trouble

Is the Auxillary fan (driven by the A/C and also when car is very hot) rebuildable? Mine isn't working, its not the resistor, when I jump it and run power to the fan it wobbles and grinds as if it has a bad bearing.

1.Should I just bite the bullet and buy another OEM one?

2.Can I rebuild my current one?

3.Has anyone run another aftermarket one with any response to how it preforms?

Like I said, my car isn't having overheating issues, the low speed fan just tears itself apart on the low speed when I flip the A/C on. The only time I get cold air is when I'm flying on the highway.

I have a good OEM one if you're looking. PM me.

Easiest fix is a good used one, which is obviously easy to find. Being in the AC belt if you are inclined to an upgrade get a 14" SPAL pusher and skip the resistor so it runs on high only
