I like the Ireland SS cat-back exhaust. It is a bit louder than the stock configuration, but but not objectionable.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

I spent 450 bucks for a magnaflow high flow cat and muffler dual 2.5 in and out. Super deep and not too loud. Haven't looked back

Are you looking for stock, or upgrading?

Stock m20? That's enormous and degrading your performance, and will be loud/raspy - have any sound clips? Dual 1.75" is more than adequate for a stock engine. Dual 2" with tuned lengths will easily support 200+whp (we have pushed 180+whp through stock original systems).

I'm bringing my car to a local exhaust shop.
They are welding an entire system in from the headers back. Putting a y-pipe where i tell them too. Putting mounts where i tell them too. And giving me a muffler and welding on the tips that i want.

              All for $400...
O, and it has a 10 year warranty....

May I suggest places to separate for service. At least on near the trans. Nothing like having to pull down the entire exhaust to remove a drive shaft etc.

The Magnaflow sounds really good in my opinion. Like REALLY good. I have an H-Pipe in place of cat.

I also suggest SuperSprint and Scorpion. Both sound really meaty!

Which one would sound like the original one? I don't want it any louder.

I have one of these installed and second this opinion. Fitment was a bit of a headache and the "stainless" required a bit of touch-up before installation, but I'm happy with it overall.

My Stebro stainless steel exhaust sounds great. Fitment was perfect. Required nothing, installed perfectly.

Good luck finding one though. Doesn't look like they're in business anymore.

Alex....Do you live in Tempe Arizona? You must have some of the best auto salvage yards in the country. There may be some beautiful rust free exhaust systems in Arizona salvage yards.

I was forced to replace my exhaust system this year. New York requires a 50 state cat. I used a stainless Magnaflow muffler. The muffler hangers were Crappy and I had to completely re fabricate those using my OEM muffler hangers in order to get the muffler to hang properly. I don't like the loud sound of the Magnaflow from inside the cab, although it might sound ok from outside the car.
