    Valve Cover Baffle Cover

Hey guys, i had a quick question for yall.

I just got done media blasting a few parts and popped off that thin Aluminum plate that covers some baffles inside the valve cover to get at all that nasty behind it. The thin metal sheet got bent on removal and i was wondering if i still need to reinstall this before I put it back on the motor.

Thanks in advance yall, and keep driving those dirty 30s.

I would. The M20 isn't particularly prone to sucking oil- why encourage it??

I had my valve cover powder coated (s50) and forgot to install the baffle plate and the car smoked on start up. I had trouble figuring out why until I went back to the last item I replaced. I would keep it on.
