Hot start problem: can't find answers elsewhere

    Have an '87 ETA.

This is how it spends its days:

-Starts almost fine in the morning.

    -Starts after short trips

-Sits for a few hours; will only start on starting fluid. Will crank, but not turn-over.

-Drive it again, starts on short trips.

-Sits again; starting fluid once more.

I replaced the injectors and fuel filter.

So, could it be: crank position sensor? Starter solenoid?

    Fuel pressure regulator tests normal.

Ifnitncranks its not starter related. I'm having a similar problem and the cps is a good suspect

I agree that it doesn't sound starter related.

Check CPS. Also check coolant temp sensor for the ecu.

        Will crank, but not turn-over.
Cranking and turning over being the same, roughly.
Unless you're into serious 4x4ing, then it's different.

You mean crank but not catch.
        Crank but not start.
        Crank but not run.
        Crank but not fire.
        Crank but not meth.

        that sort of thing.
