    Rear end swap information

Okay so I have my 86 eta. I was fortunate enough to come across a complete S52 w/ accessories, harness, and ecu that I am resealing and building up for my swap. Through another source I may also be getting complete front, middle, and rear end of an E36 M3. My question is, I know the front end will work for a 5 lug conversion, but what about the rear?

I see people talk about the 318ti swap and z series swaps, but I can not find any information about putting an E36 M3 REAR END into an E30. Links or general info would be helpful and greatly appreciated. And by rear end I mean everything. Axles, trailing arms, the whole shebang.

    uh, no,

one of the best things about the E36 is that they finally fixed the trailing arms.
They're night- and- day better than anything that came before.

And. They don't work in an E30. at all.

That's why you don't see anything about them.

You could probably start a large following if you did such a swap. I would definitely pay attention.

And why not go this route instead of old e36 stuff if you're doing all that work??

More info on the build, please? I have considered doing a multi-link e30 swap, but there's just something about the lift-slide effect the e30 trailing arms have and I love lol.
