    Driveshaft vibration

I had hard vibration under accelration. I had the csb replaced and it has been fine for the past 2 weeks. But now I can feel it vibrating again. It's not nearly as hard or bad as it was before.
does my driveshaft need to be balanced ?

When my driveshaft started to fail, it would vibrate worse under hard load than normal driving. Turned out it was a u joint.

If you have a factory assembled driveshaft, it will have white paint marks to show balanced / proper alignment between the front and back half's.

Try using a hose clamp and adjusting it around the driveshaft. If it gets better in one place add more clamps until it is balanced.

My local driveshaft shop charges $49 to balance.

If it's vibrating under heavier load, look at u- joints, guibo, etc-

off- balance usually is usually most noticeable at very light to no throttle at speed.
