    Urethane subframe bushings

I ordered some Powerflext urethane subframe bushings and it says NOT to grease the outside of the bushing. However, it provides grease and doesn't say where TO grease it. Anyone here done this before?
    Gracias!

I would imagine applying the grease along the outside of the bushing is what is necessary so you can get it back into the subframe itself. I just recently puchased Ireland Engineering urethane subframe bushings. These are a two-piece design and are much easier to install into the subframe. I may apply some lithium grease just to ensure there won't be any squeeking noises (or at least minimize them).

I also have the IE subframe bushings. I might have used a small amount of grease just to instal them. I don't have any squeaking btw (and all my bushings are poly except my control arms)

I have the IE ones and they went in fine without any grease, although my car does squeak a little bit over bumps if you listen carefully. Not sure if it's the fault of the bushings though
