LOL...werd...but we're talkin IS lip rite now, and i have mine bolted into the valence with about 8 screws...i have hit multiple things with the lip, and i havent lost it yet...oh yeah, and i have about 2 or 3 clips that survived holding the spoiler in place so that its easy to line it up and put screws through...heheIG: @Baye30

Im sure this doesnt apply to a Ryan splitter on a stock i lip? Rarely go over 120mph anyways. How much downforce or impact could those stock lip clips hold? I replaced all of mine and they seemed pretty good.Originally posted by Bryson
the clips are quite strong, smart ass ;) you'd need a splitter to make any downforce, and even then, it's probably not too much for the clips to handle. (although the splitter makes the car much slower after 120mph)Comment

I remember reading a post by somebody a while back who used a splitter on their is lip with just the plastic clips holding it on.. and it ripped off on the freeway. dunno how old his clips were, but if I had a splitter I'd reinforce it for sure.Comment
