Niiice... I wonder what the 335i will pull with a 3.25LSD? Maybe 150? Im pretty sure the gearing is good to over 160, but I'll have to plug it into the gear calculator.

I hit an indicated 145mph in my Alfa, stock 2.5 with 155hp :)

Maintained it too, pinned at 6000rpm (rev limited at 6300) for around 15 - 20 miles through south western Colorado.

james was right, I had the wrong wire.. you got it though, I found pin 14 (I think it's on the blue plug??) and there was a green wire.. I just cut it for now, I can always splice it together later if I want to.

putting that damn instrument cluster back in was a major PITA.. stupid @$%^ airbag!!

    on E30s that have it, it's 125mph

on E30s without, it's whenever the brick shape of the car keeps it from accelerating further, usually around 140.

a chip on an E30 won't do anything for the limiter

A stock e30 should only be able to get up to 135 140ish...where does the limiter come in??? On my 750 it kicks in at 155, which I thoght was basically the industry standard.

I got rid of that bitch by installing performance chips the first week I had my car.

Ability to bottom out the 170MPH speedo FTW.
187MPH reported top speed in a car that cost me less than $10,000...FTMFW.

When I still had the m20 stroker in there, I hit above the maximum indicated speed on my speedometer (220km/h or 140mph) and no sign of a limiter.
