    Unichip tuning help

Has anyone here tuned a unichip themself or seen the parameters that the tuner can modify? The link below says there are only 17 rpm sites between 500 and 8000rpm is this true for all models/version of unichip? Can these rpm sites be specified or they evenly spaced? The reason i ask is that i want to know if the unchip will be able to target a slight flatspot i am having, but if the resolution of the maps isn't fine enough or i can't target a specific rpm band maybe it won't be able to help much?

    i have e30 M20 stoker

is there any way to tune (i.e. with software and lap top etc) w/o going to a unichip dealer

    Cheers

I can't help with the unichip, but where in the power band is the flat spot? I'm just curious because I haven't experienced anything like that. my motor isn't tuned though.
