So, my girlfriends 90 325i shakes pretty badly at 62 mph. If feels like it's coming from the front passengers side - and i just had the tires balanced to try to fix it but it did nothing. Ideas?

I had that as well some time ago because of a bent rim. Then the rim bent more due to my stupidity on taking right turns with 10km/h and the car was shaking very bad at the 140-155 km/h range.
Mostly, when shaking at 100+ km its one of the rear ones, and below that its one of the front ones.

New and/or stronger shocks could help hide the problem by dampening out the vibration. Start by checking every balljoint and bushing. If the vibration gets really violent under braking from that speed, then it's definitely a blown CAB.
