Absolutely nothing, that's the same kit I have on my car, but the calipers say 'Wilwood' not 'RPI Equipped' (I prefer these ones to mine....oh well)

They look pretty sick, granted. But if you are running a stock M20 or M42 (as most are), the stock E30 brakes are more than enough stopping power. Just get yourself some good rotors, pads, lines and fluid, and you're good to go.
Hell, even paint your calipers.

$1400 canadian is a great price for that kit! I wonder how larger brakes affect the ABS system though?

I know a guy local to me that has them.

Seems like it'd be a good upgrade for M/S50 swappers who don't want to go to 5 lug, but want a little more stopping power under their belts.

Ehhh, is not my case, I need to have a BBK soon..my OEM calipers/pads aren't enough.

Even with my EBC Green Stuff( that sucks IMO) the car just needmore brakes, have to downshift obligatory to stop my car when I run it hard.

I wonder if RPI will sell me only the brackets, in that way i can get the Calipers alone cheaper somewhere.

My friend's girlfriend just swapped Porsche Cayenne brakes onto her A4, and from what I hear it stops on a dime. Maybe that'd be an interesting swap for an E30, if you could clear 'em.

Lots of the E36/46 guys do it. You'd have to do a five lug swap first, though.

you can put a shit load of different calipers on any car, its just a matter of having mounting brackets fabricated. if you have machine skills, you can get porsche calipers seperately for really cheap, like 300-400 IIRC.

I have toyed this idea but the VW units are cheaper than the BMW units. So thats why I haven't done brakes yet.

The Wilwood's rock, but the ABS does tend to activate quicker, making 225's a must have.
