I had the rear seats out of the car to do the rear speaker's wiring, I was hungry so I went out to the local in-n-out with a couple friends.
I left the seats out and since I did, I heard a noise I've never heard, it was obviously being muffled by the rear seat.
It's a whining noise. At first, I thought it was the fuel pump, but engine speed does not affect it. Only thing that affects how loud the whining is the speed of the actual car. The faster the car, the higher pitched the whine is. Since I am 90% sure it is not something fuel related, could it be somewhere in the drivetrain, like the rear differential? I just got the fluid changed to be on the safe side but the rear seats are back in so I haven't taken the time to notice. I will take the seats out tomorrow and see if it still makes the noise.
Anyways, thanks for the help!
