    That's cool.

So, you need to have the rear lights on to get the brighter trunkspace?

on my brake light holder the back part has a clearish section so the parking lights shine into the trunk when they are on.
      Im now E30less.

        yes Randy, that's basically "IT".

i just added an extra light by tapping and runing wire and tab from donor back piece to second sockeket from left, it looks like this (yet to modify this one) ...

                Thats a tight idea!

I have euro rear fogs wired up (a little fabrication of the connector/metal board in the cover..)

Were there two different types of the bulb holders? I ask because my friend's '91 318is has a different piece with the "rods", while mine seems to have "plates."

i updated my rear fogs to blink with my blinkers. i went to a junk yard and found a beemer with rear tails and took a wire set from it and just added into the empty hole where the foglights go. i have it wired upto the wire bracket on bolth the male and female sides. it was pretty easy. right now i just have it spliced into the blinkers. i tried all the methods.. hooking them up to the brakes, parking lights, ect.. i t hought the blinkers were the coolest so i stayed with them. in the future i want to get a relay to make the blinkers blink as following. fog, blinker, side blinker. right now it's fog&blinker, side blinker. (with the lights on) hopefully i'l figure out how to wire it up since it might be a task with the side blinkers. just some ideas from me. :]

                        hi guys,
is an oem part, it came in various e30 models, part number 368 425 030 130 but is same for othe 2 versions without "window"

i also tought of using dios and different functions but decited to go simple since i usually brake more things than i actually fix/upgrade

notice that brake lights are brighter that "lights", also you can probly see inner light shining through plastic window.

there's still is an empty slot at pin/connector locations, have not look at actual harness plug but perhaps original "Fog" light wire it's there.

in case i need to use extra illumination then i just leave parking lights on until finish unloading, besides that is a cosmetic upgrade (at least for the inside)

once found a set of kick panels that someone added glove-box (square type) lights to them, they illuminated at same time as dome lights., pretty nice.

here's pic of them in action, also a shot from my local mntnbike trail atop malibu.
                        (2,600ft on 4.5 miles, usually hit about 50 on it :) )

the Norco about $ 100 a pound, she comes in at 35+ lbs, not bad for 5+" travel.

there's other meat cuts at about $ 200 a pound sprinkled it Ti Dust such as my road ride.
she's just 20 lbs, could got lighter but wheels are heavy yet slices through the wind like no other :) ...
