You want numbers, I got your numbers. Well.....some of them anyway.

I purchased complete struts (shock, spring, hub, rotor, caliper) and complete trailing arms (t-arm, hub, rotor, caliper, spring, shock) from an E30 M3 that was being parted out. My cost for these parts was roughly $800 shipped. I sold the springs to a friend and tossed the shocks since they were toast.

After that I found a set of OEM 15x7 basketweaves with tires for $300. The wheels need refinishing but the tires (Goodyears) are fine....two are actually new.

What I still need: 25mm mastercylinder (not mandatory, but a worthy upgrade) ~$150, SS brake lines $75-100, brake pads $?, turn rotors $? and sway bar parts (OEM bars being used) $100+. I was planning on using my existing spring/shock combo with this new set up but now I'm thinking about just getting new stuff. What I would really like is some Bilstein Sports and I.E Stage 3 springs made to spec. This would easily tack on another $600+ to the bill. I would like to get the wheels refinished as well. No idea on that cost.

So, what could my running total be? Hypothetically: $2,200 (conservative estimate).

If you already forked out on big brakes like $2000+ and don't want to shell out to do the 5-lug and then again to get big brakes whats wrong with redrilling to get 5-lug? And is it even possible with the diameter of the hub? Has anyone done it?[/quote]
