I am wondering what the performance will be, as I assume the cam aint doing much at that RPM.
Guess the revlimiter is useless, but i never hit that

bump.. what is the best computer system for use with the 323 head? Will the 1.3 work okay? I know back in the glory days, the eta block and 323 head was a hot set-up, does anyone have any experience with it? Anyone done it? From what I hear, should be about 160 hp. Will I still have power down low or will i forefit from the bigger ports?Old and improved:

I've already posted this request in another thread but what years/type of 323 head will work on a pre-'88 eta? I have the chance to get an '81 323 head and I have an '86 e. Will I gain anything? Also, I've read in this thread about "big port" 323 and "non-200 series castings", how's the quick and dirty way to tell the difference if you've only got pictures to look at? Thanks guys.Comment

Yeah, mine's a 2/86 eta so I should have the single mass FW. I'll know in the very near future...New clutch going in. :)Originally posted by chrisdDon't forget that there are actually the "pre 05/86" eta and the "05/86 to 88"
the pre 04/86 eta had a single mass fw, which is hugely better.Comment
