    how will i know if i did it right, so far i havent noticed any difference? how long will it take my car to blow up if i did it wrong?

      It will not blow up, the rocker arm will snap, if it's too tight!

        off topic but will your rocker arm snap if you redline the m20 alot?

            only if you're bouncing off the rev limiter constantly. going to the redline won't hurt anything. I bounced off the 6900rpm rev limit on accident with my other chip, nothing bad happened. just don't make a habit out of it.

            generally, going past 6k is a waste of time anyway, the M20 doesn't make much power up there. I usually shift (or let the tranny shift) at about 6k if I'm trying to get somewhere.

              Did you adjust the valves to the correct measurement using a feeler gauge? Then you did it right.

                  yeah, they are a small bit quieter, i started doing it when the engine was warm, then it cooled off a little bit, so i dont know if the metal went from expanded, then back to normal size while i was still using the reccomended feeler guage size for when the engine was hot, which i beleive was .300 mm
