how will i know if i did it right, so far i havent noticed any difference? how long will it take my car to blow up if i did it wrong?

only if you're bouncing off the rev limiter constantly. going to the redline won't hurt anything. I bounced off the 6900rpm rev limit on accident with my other chip, nothing bad happened. just don't make a habit out of it.
generally, going past 6k is a waste of time anyway, the M20 doesn't make much power up there. I usually shift (or let the tranny shift) at about 6k if I'm trying to get somewhere.Comment

yeah, they are a small bit quieter, i started doing it when the engine was warm, then it cooled off a little bit, so i dont know if the metal went from expanded, then back to normal size while i was still using the reccomended feeler guage size for when the engine was hot, which i beleive was .300 mmComment
