    Hubcentric spacers, and longer lugs?

OK I picked up a set of old school Borbet type B's a while back. they are 16x7.6" in front, 16x9" in back. the rears have an offset of et15

only the center bore is too big. also, the lugs are not long enough.

so how do I figure out what hubcentric spacer i need, what lug nuts i need, and if I need a regular wheel spacer for the front rims

spacers will make them fit even worse if they are ET15

You copied my idea man. :( I am waiting on mine right now. Mine are proper offset and pcd and bore correct though.

bring it in to a tire/wheels shop and they may be able to help you out on the spacer sizing.
as for it looking drilled. i think someone just had a hard time with a bolt.

                  ok so anyway

i've gone to the shops around, they don't know what hubcentric spacer to use nor have long enough lugs

                  anyone

On ET15, you'd need to get the center surface machined down to make them fit, not add a spacer.

Yeah, spacers = bad on ET15.

Are you using the holes that were cast into the rim, or the ones that Cletus drilled by hand with his crank hand drill?

i'm using the holes that were cast into the rim, cletus is a completely unrelated incident.

and digitalwave- i'm not sure i know what you're talking about. I'm saying they need hubcentric spacers, as the center bore is too large

also, anyone have info on the lugs? cause the front rims have hubcentric spacers on there, but I can't tell if they'll fit cause my lugs aren't long enough

Everyone is confused as hell because you keep saying spacer, which does just that. What you REALLY need are centering rings. Those go inside that larger bore and fillin the gaps there without increasing the spacer between teh hubface and the wheel therefore making the effective offset lower.

And those holes frighten me, a lot. Those are really close to your lug holes and I could see some metal giving way if something crazy happened like you braked really hard in a turn or were hammering it.

Lugs should be available at any ricer shop.

No. Spacers = bad on a rim w/too low an offset.

You want rings that reduce the size of the centerbore; you can get them from your local auto parts store usually.

The fronts will mount fine without a spacer if you run 215's or narrower, use a 5mm spacer if you want 225's.

The rears need a 5mm, and run a 225 (if you want the Euro look and don't want serious fender work).
