Koni Adj. in front and Bilstein Sport in rear?

I've been thinking about getting some Koni Adjustables for my front struts and some Bilstein sports for the rears. Does this sound like a good set-up?

Where is the best place to get the Konis?

go with konis or bilstiens all around IMO.. why only have adjustability on the front?

also if you have soft springs it could mess up your ride, konis on their high setting are a lot stiffer than bilstiens..

no. If you were to go mismatched I would do it the other way around. The rear bilsteins just aren't enough for me without different valving

Wouldn't it be best to control nose-dive in the front?

You can control it with spring rates. Mine were temporary fit due to I was having my SA converted to DA. I have them back but I just have gotten the time to install them yet.

They don't make 45mm Bilstein Sport fronts do they? I would say that the Sports would be plenty stiff for your cheap-o springs, but if they don't make Sports for the front, get Konis all around and run them soft.

Yes they do, for the older 85 318i I got a set from Josh and my car was 51mm so I sold them to CourtM3. They have traveled the world twice.

That's cool, I wasn't sure on that. I guess they don't make them for iX's, and that is what I was thinking.

Good Point. I'll get the sports and save some $ in the process.
