Thanks Aaron. I'm hoping for the best too, but it doesn't look good.

Huh? I was under the impression that it just bolted up with no modification. Holy shit, if thats the problem I'm gonna punch myself in the face.

After I punch you first, bitch. Get this thing figured out. I want to know whether or not I wasted like 35 hours helping you with this swap.

Jarvis, I'll give you a call later if you want to come down.

                      Sounds like a plan.

I'm calling that guy back soon, and hopefully I will have a scheduled time to go check out the Euro 323i. You up for a roadtrip at least once in the next 48 hours?

Well... the engine isn't seized. We got the crank to turn by hand. It just took A LOT of effort at first, and still isn't exactly easy. Guess that's what happens when an engine sits for so long.
And for the record, Bryson was right. We needed to trim off some excess metal from the oil pan because the flywheel was jammed pretty hard up again it.
Whenever someone says, "yeah, the 260 just bolts right up to the M50" they never mention the uselss piece of the oil pan that literally stops the flywheel (and therefor crank) from moving  Good to know.
