    My 2.8 M20 Budget Overview

Give me a hand, guys! I need YOUR help, revising my list.

Prices, items, items that shouldn't be there, any duplicates, part numbers, anything you can do to revise this list. I appreciate it!

This is in preperation for the project I plan on starting in June (2005).

    *cough* $7K?

    S50 power. Or Turbo.

And I'd go MAF & SMT6.....you'll need the tuning tool anyway. And a longer duration cam. 284/274 would be more appriopriate, from what I've heard.

Well, im going to keep looking for better deals

It should end up to be around 5k. Not to mention all the left over parts from the 2nd engine.

      Besides, the turbo comes december

You should be able to build a "budget" 2.8 for around 2k.

You are pissing alot of money into things that are completely pointless.

Why do you need a AFM at all if you are using megasquirt? Megasquirt runs off the manifold pressure..

That's exactly the kind of thing I'm looking for, redundancies, duplicates, contradictions.

            Thanks!

Holy shit dude, that is WAYYY overkill for an N/A 2.8

3K MAX on a 2.8L Stroker motor, used parts are ok

For some reason I'm getting this utter feeling of regret :?

Maybe I'll just go buy an E36 or something

because, I'm a little kid, and my little teenage mind is so set on working on the engine I currently have in my car.
