it came out real nice, notice any sort of performance gains?
There will be no writeup, its way to custom for that.

Yes there was definately a gain, how much? That I won't speculate on, but its noticable. Above all else it just sounds badass.

All that intake, and not a single headlight missing. 8)

someone really needs to design another intake system, something like the gruppe M CAI for the e46, something that channels air through the kidney grill....

i think if i ever take on a project it will be to make something like that for the e30... meh, wishful thinking

Intakes are an aimless endevour on E30's, I doubt it'd ever happen.

Jordan, what filter is that you're using? Also, did you modify anythign to get the filter to fit over the abs pump? Did you dump the cruise control module, or just move it out of the way?
Driving is the only way to go faster....

i too doubt another company will make it, that's why I want to make it, eventually i will try to make something like that (obviously not CF, but abs or something), maybe next summer, school takes all my time.

                  K&N RU-2820 its a universal fit one.
No modifications were made to anything on the car.
I delleted cruise control along with my other weight savings mods.
This setup would not work on cruise control equiped cars without relocating the servo.

Where does the AFM bracket attach too?

I like how the heat sheild goes past the airbox bracket for a good seal.
Nice work. What's it made of and have you thought about putting that weather
stripping on the bottem of the shield for a TOTAL seal?
... Over-kill, I know.. but just to make sure it's completly isolated.

AFM bracket attaches to the rear most airbox mount.
Everything is plastic, except the pipe and adapter which are aluminum.
I'm going to buy some small vacuum hose and run it along the bottom of the heatshield and around the pipe opening for a better seal, but right now money is tight.

If $ is tight and you want to finish it. Steal that troublesome kid's lunch money while you beat him up  Two birds with one stone. j/k

Definately a nicely fabricated mod. If you like the sound, post a clip! Very well done shield making, looks professinal and quality.
