    Wheel and shift knob vibration

So I've been chasing a vibration in the shift knob and wheel for a while now.

When the car is idling (at a light of w/e) the wheel will vibrate (not a lot but enough to notice) and the shifter will as well. The wheel is mostly an up-down vibration, the shifter goes side-side.

So I've done my flex disc, csb, sway bars & links, engine oil every 2500 w/ non-synthetic, spark plugs and wires, had motor mounts checked and looked fine (including the tran mout), did see some play in the diff mount bushing, also haven't done manual trans fluid or diff fluid (mostly because I don't know what fluids to buy.)

Anyway, I thought I had the vibration cornered with the sparks and wires, but apparently not. Is there a chance that old oil in the diff or tran could be causing some feedback that would cause this?

Tighten everything back up? Did it do it before?

I was up above it, Now I'm down in it ~ Entropy - A Build thread.

I'm not sure what you mean by tighten everything back up.

I've only had the car since August, and I can't remember if it would vibrate during the warmer months.

My car is chipped, and I run 93 octane (M42) is there a chance that running 93 in winter with the colder air would mess with combustion? Should I be running 91 in winter?

EDIT: So now my two questions are
A - Would old tran and diff oil cause feedback that would make the wheel and shift knob vibrate?
B - Would the colder air temperatures of winter mess with combustion using 93 octane; should I use 91 when it's cold?

That really sounds like bad engine and transmission mounts.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

My thoughts exactly, but they checked out.
