    Annoying Check Lights

I get the wiper fluid and brake light warnings all the time and I know there is nothing wrong with either. My wiper fluid is topped off and the light comes on every time I take a sharp turn. The brake light warning comes on and goes off at random times. Anybody know how to fix this? Thanks

My eta did the exact same thing. The only fix I found was selling the car :-)

The sensors are messed up, both on my car are floats, make sure they have a free range of movement & aren't sticking.

It's the sensors on both. There is a sensor for the washer right on the tank, and the driver's side front and passenger side rear calipers house the brake lining sensors.

Let's drive fast and have fun.

jump the wire on the washer tank sensor, its a useless sensor.

I use mine as a G meter, when I hit an on-ramp just right the light comes on as I power from the apex.

if that is true that everyones does that, have any of you tried to see how far you can go without using you brakes?

yeah, my wiper fluid check light is a bitch......and the sensor is probably bad as it came on with it topped off constantly......not it is once in a while. but annoying.

you going to the BMWCCP tonight?

If all your brake lights function correctly then I would guess it is the brake light switch (sometimes referred to as the Stop LIght Switch). A new one will run around $12
                              from bimmerzone.com

The switch is located behind the brake pedal.
