Starter won't turn. Last time it was ground. Please help diagnose

The car has been periodically turning over slowly. Everything else seems ok. Today, I drove it and it started fine in the morning and then slow at my next stop. I got home and it is DEAD. I have lights and I attempted to jump it and it is stone cold DEAD. The OBC was not lighting up this morning and ironically that now lights up but the starter won't crank at all. Please walk me through the steps again? Thanks.

Can you tell us what other troubleshooting you've already done?

Considering you said it is turning over slowly, that is most likely three possible things.

      1. Dead vehicle battery. If its more than 5 years old, replace it.
      2. Dead alternator. If your battery is 5 years old or younger, then it is not being charged up.
      3. Failing engine ground cable. This cable is responsible for grounding all engine electronics including the alternator and starter.

I would start with these three.
