shift linkage for 85 323i euro

Is there any difference between the shift linkage on a us 5 speed and the euro 5 speed? Will they all fit between 84-88? I have a 85 323i

I just bought a shift rebuild kit for my 1995 318i Touring (Belgian) from Condor Racing. It all fit fine. I didn't tell them that I had a Euro car.

Euro and US 84-85 cars came with a sheet metal shifter console. 86 on came with the later style carrier.
