Too many speculators/commentors/keyboard crusaders commenting on speculation of damage and panel replacement.

I think people forget, that these cars are not Ferrari's, and were at one point, considered a disposable car. Parking lot accident? Replace the fender.
Accident - fix it if prudent, insurance claim if not.

In reality, panel replacements shouldn't be a stop-all situation. There aren't any aftermarket panels for the M3 aside from maybe a hood since it's shared with a regular E30....

Chris, I agree (my car has a preexisting DOT driver side fender). With the car in question, the grafted-in strut tower would be a deal breaker for me though.

Wow! m3s prices have skyrocketed!!! seems like 5 years ago this would've been a 25k car no more...
