About 8 years ago I knew a guy that bought it thinking it was a 2.3. So he sold it to me. I was going to put it in my 2002. But that never happened. I got some leftover internals from a 2.5 conversion for a customer, so now I can rebuild this one and turn it into a 2.3.Last edited by surgeoh; 02-13-2015, 01:19 PM.Leave a comment:

Lucky you! Wrecked m3s with parts still left are a rare find indeed :)I have most of the interior that I took out of a wreck. Just needs reupholstering. Corbeau sport seats, rear seats have headrests:D
carpet needs to be dyed, etc.
The only parts I really need are some A/C bits, and the usual engine rebuild stuff. Most items just need some elbow grease and reconditioning/rebuilding.Leave a comment:

Id keep the interior stripped and turn it into a track car. Its getting damn near impossible to replace an entire m3 interior nowadays...Leave a comment:

Lol.. not exactly free. I still have a lot of sweat equity and missing parts ahead of me. I only have a few hours per week to work on it, but luckily, I have mad skills.
