E30 M3 Strut Length?

Hey all-

Does anyone know the difference in strut length from M3 to i? As far as I know, the M3 is 51mm diameter like the i, but is a bit shorter. I could be wrong though. I noticed Koni offers a different p/n for front M3 struts (hence the curiosity), but Bilstein doesn't appear to have a variation.

Bump. I'm interested in know this too. Getting ready to buy front Koni's.

As far as I have found out, they are the exact same strut inserts dimensionally. The reason the M3 has a different part number is due to it having a 4cyl engine, and thus Koni deemed it necessary to have different valving up front.

On e30 325i and e30 m3 are 51mm diameter. Length wise I see now differences.

Just FYI, sway bar mounts are different.
