Is it worth it?

• '88 M3 Henna
• 150k miles
• car sat for 8 years, safe to assume gaskets and bushings are shot
• interior is in mint condition
• clear coat is gone, will need a new re-spray
• starts and runs ok-ish

Don't have pictures at this moment, will add some later.

Worth 15k? I'm thinking 12k at the most, as it will need a full respray and lots of parts replaced.

Would appreciate your guy's input.

I will let you know, once i make a decision. (The car is in PNW, so i might not be worth it for you.)

Its a very good comparison. I think that by the time you get things sorted out, you'd be at the same cost.

Guy bought it to have it restored. Never had the time nor funds to do a full resto and just sat in his driveway till he decided to sell it. (i'm sure he didn't pay 15k 8 years ago)

Rust? Is the interior in good shape (headliner, C-pillars, leather)? Are the panel gaps even?

Just fyi....henna didn't have a clear coat. It's a single stage and can probably be restored with a paint correction/polish
