That was unnecessary. I don't know what your beef is with me, but it seems like every time you respond to one of my posts it's with a dickish, passive-aggressive attitude. I didn't start this thread so you could 'school' me, it was because a twenty minute google search through parts stores didn't bring anything up and I hadn't gotten around to calling BMW yet. I don't care if you don't like me but if you can't keep the snide remarks to yourself, stay out of my threads - I don't need that kind of help.

Look up the part number on realoem.com and send a message to Blunt. Simple as that.

For future reference, do this. Most parts suppliers will get the part from the dealer. Getting the part number off RealOEM helps your search greatly. This kind of part is not available aftermarket.

I know, but I figured I'd try since rockauto typically has a lot of stuff. It was just real confusing since they offered hubs for a z3m, but not a standard z3. You'd figure if they were gonna offer hubs for one of the two cars, it would be for the standard z, right? (due to higher production numbers).

I was thinking about buying those Latvian spindle sleeves so you can just use the stock strut.

$87 a piece new, and you'll need new bearings. it all fits in the e30 trailing arm. you will need to find z3 calipers and carriers, you can't use stock stuff. and remember, this pushing the wheel out 23mm a side over stock. unless you plan on cutting the fenders or flares you need to find e36 fitment wheels.

Those are z3m hubs though... but if I'm reading your statement right the z3m bearings will fit in the e30 trailing arm? I thought they were bigger or something? If it does work though, fukken sweet. Does that mean I'd have to buy z3m rear brake stuff too (dependent on wheel clearance)? Because that would be doubly sweet. Just ran the numbers and that would take the setup I had planned from a 65/35 brake bias back to a stockish 70/30 bias... not that the first setup would be an issue, but whatever.

** edit ** just noticed that PP has the bearing dimensions listed - looks like the diameter of the z3m bearing is about 10mm larger on the outside and 3-4mm larger on the inside.... looks like that won't work. I'm still baffled as to why the z3m hub can be found online and has aftermarket support, yet the standard z3's don't.. so weird.

That part number given earlier in this thread is WRONG! That is for the 4 cylinder hub.

The 6 cylinder Z3 rear hub is part number 33411095772 and goes for $98 each at TheBMWpartStore.

You're absolutely correct. The Z3M hub/bearing will NOT fit the E30 trailing arm.

wow.........I should have read the description a little better, my bad. Looks like MR325 found them though. but yes it will fit the stock trailing arm....I have them on my car. And yes you need the calipers and carriers as I stated in my last post. Good to know about the brake bias.

So the 6cyl non M Z3 rear brakes/carriers fit the E30 trailing arm? With the Z3 6 cyl non M hub and bearings? :) What about brake shield and E brake?

I know, but, it's another source in case he's looking for other parts as well. Now, or in the future. When you need to order a bunch of parts in one shot it doesn't hurt to have more options.
