    possible cheap 5 lug

i've been doing some thinking / research, i've been to a couple machine shops and they all say this is possible. remove 4 lug hubs, get them welded and re drilled 5X120, not a problem, the problem i think i'm going to run into is brakes. what will work. i was thinking of redrilling a rotor in the same fashion as above, but if there's another way, such as e30 M3 rotors if they work, i'm unsure, but if i can resolve my brake issues, i will be doing this... let me know what your think

    cheers

Shit's fucked up. Honestly it sounds like too much work, sourcing the parts really isn't that hard.

I don't think it will work in the way that you think it will. I imagine that you are planning to only weld up the holes. I have read a spec sheet on the hub from one of the manufacturers, and I believe that it said that the OD of the flange is 120mm. The problem is that the five lug is on a 120mm bolt circle, so that half of every hole will be out in free air. Unless you are planning to build up the OD on the flange of course, which would be a bad idea on many levels (cost, strength, heat input into the bearings).

them hub are hard as fuck. therefor it would take way lots of time to weld temper and then drill. and tap them.

I was up above it, Now I'm down in it ~ Entropy - A Build thread.

when you live in Butt fuck canada on the east coast where there's like 37 e30's in the entire province and you don't have ass loads of cash to spend on shipping suspension parts, you start looking for cheaper alternitives. and yes, i do really only want it for the wheels, i picked up a set of 17's motorsport reps for 300 bucks in mint shape, and i want to run them.

ive been selling rears for 410 shipped. Then you could get some E36 struts and install some camber plates. Since you say there arent any E30s there.
