Thats called skimping. SOmetimes, to do it right, you have to pay a little more. e30 m3 stuff front, and technically all you need is the brakes and hub flanges for the rear as 325's trailing arms are the same as m3's.

When starting from scratch, E30 M3 stuff is probably the simplest plan, but when you have parts that could work, why not be innovative and bend the rules a little? If you can make something work effectively and safely, you've pretty much succeeded.
