    Adding studs to adapters

I was wondering if anyone has added a stud conversion to a 5x120 adapter and if this is at all a safe idea. Any feedback is appreciated.

As long as its a top tier stud and hub concentric adapter It would seem ok.

No experience, other than some of the guys with big trucks run and adapter for older vs new Chevy 8 bolt pattern. As long as the adapter and stud is top quality you should be ok.

I like MSI studs, but the bimmerworld and motorsports hardware ones seem OK too.

I was up above it, Now I'm down in it ~ Entropy - A Build thread.

Okay cool, I figured as long as the adapter is installed properly, adding a stud kit to it should be fine. Thanks for the response.

i make custom made adaptors, adding studs to them is perfectly safe as long as they are fitted correctly and i would advise using locktite.

With my adaptors i fit steal inserts into them rather than just threading the ali adaptor itself as its much safer.
