    powder coating vs paint

    i'm in the middle of refreshing the brakes including new seals and a paint. after cleaning the calipers up, and doing the painting process, i can clearly understand why having them sandblasted and powder coated is better lol

    They were cadmium plated originally.

      those look nice.

      mine were essentially rust and brake oil. i may have seen a little of that yellow/gold in a speck or two. i bought a few cans of cheap caliper paint on sale 2 yrs ago and am trying to use it up. red of course as that was the only colour. i'll try get a pic or two when done. some of the paint cans were horrible.
