      actually no, you're moving it closer to the body. spacing it away would increase camber and toe.

        So by moving the sub-frame closer to the body you straighten out the trailing arms and get back to a "neutral" position where the angle of the trailing arms is parallel to the ground. Then to adjust camber you use the weld in kits? Hopefully I've got this right now. How do you know how much to move the sub-frame? The AKG bushings have different amounts of movement. Is there a write up on this process?

          I'm pretty sure that the raising of the subframe "undoes" lowering of the car at a 1:1 ratio.

            as far as suspension geometry, yes. but it doesn't change the actual ride height.
