    WTF?! i just found somethingwierd on my subframe...

    bondo.. or SOMEthing where the top of the subframe pin should be.... has anyone ever encountered this before? or have any suggestions on how to get the pin out if the top of it isn't even there?

      It's just a hole plug. Pry it off.

        i was under the impression that this was supposed to be the head of a pin-type bolt which you are supposed to whack out from the bottom... am i incorrect?

          Yeah, it's under the cap. Pry it off.

            Hit the bolt from the bottom. It'll pop right out when you are doing the subframe.

            In other words - You don't pull that bolt out from the top.

              okay then i must not have been giving it enough force, from the DIY i was reading it looked like the pin should've already been sticking out of the top

                  Nope. That pic is of it pushed up and resting on the splines. If you were to turn it a few degrees it would drop back into the hole as soon as the splines line up.

                            okay guys, i just got the pins out, but now the subframe won't actually drop out; are there any tricks or techniques for physically dropping it out? it seems like it's getting stuck on the bushings...
