Well the first side took me a really long time to get in. But the other side took less than 30 minutes for everything once I learned it.

I couldn't find a two jaw puller that was bigger than 6 inches. The bottle jack with a PVC cap worked for me

Great idea! The 2/3 jaw I used is from Autozone, is like $15 or so.

The best thing about dish soap too is when it dries in there, it basically acts as glue. We used to use the same thing for handlebar grips when I was a kid.

And put the bushings in the freezer the night before, just leave them overnight.

Just created a tool such as this...worked amazing.

But i prefer to use hand sanitizer for lube...super slippery and dries quickly unlike soap which takes a while! (And by quick i mean within minutes so don't waste time putting the bushing in)

using the tips in this thread, i made a tool for this today. 7 pieces of 3/16th x3/4 steel bar i had and 10 minutes of welding. will try it out next weekend. all the nuts and bolts under the car are soaking in liquid wrench in anticipation..

                  Hey Marshall,

                  (yes, that one.)
now, sometimes I just mess with people. It's more entertaining that way. george graves
