Im running HP+ at track days, never had problems with fade. We only run 10ish lap sessions, but even after 10 hard laps they don't fade at all.

Yah. Might look into switching back to Hawk.Comment

All I can do is relate my experience. 10+ hot laps at a time and no fade. Others are saying the same thing, so track pad or not they work for me and apparently others.

I was running Hp+ with the stock calipers and after 3-4 laps the brakes started to fade. Temps around 95+ here in Puerto Rico.
Now Im going to use HT-10 with the Rx7 calipers, slotted/cross drill brakes and brake ducts. Please Rate Me:

I've tracked a fc3s and fd3s and my bmw at the same track, have personally used hp+, project mu, ebc pads.
For the Japanese high end stuff it's expensive. But so are hawk blue race pads, ferrodo, wtc etc etc.
Racing + budget brake pads that can take non-budget slicks?
Only thing budget in the equation can be local steel blank rotors (for "warrenty")
For an e30 with slicks have you tried cobalt friction? Those are quite aggressive.
For a heavier e36m with full slicks and full weight ebc yellow could take 2-3 hot laps at Laguna Seca.OBD1 M54/M52TU swap as a M50b25
Z4 non powered steering rack fits e30
Euro e46 2005/6 320d 6mt gearbox into E30 with M20 hardy and beck 1985 327s engine

Japanese brakes, best pads will be from Japan.

Yah. I am seeing 130-135mph into 10A at Road Atlanta. Then two turns later seeing 100mph again.Comment

Raybestos ST-43 were a much better track pad for me than the HT-10's. They are twice as much $$, but will appear to last 3X more than HT-10's. I am able to carry the brakes in deeper, for less time, than the HT-10's lap after lap (VIR Full).
RX-7 fronts+ST43
Meyle Rotors
Stock rear+PFC06's
ATE Blue
No ducting.
I got them from LPI in California.

When I talked to Performance Friction 4 weeks ago they stated that they are no longer supporting the second gen RX7 front calipers.
Iam becoming a dealer for CL Brakes, It is a French company heavily into GP and Super bikes, and RALLY cars. Thier stuff is big bucks but reviews on EVo, STi, Lotus boards has been incredible. I will be putting a set on my M42/E30 racecar as soon as it's done. Probably by mid summer. The US distibutor for them, supplies a number of Cup, truck etc teams with CL products and AP calipers.Chris Leone
