Mine is quieter now that I put my back seat back in and I have a sub in the trunk :)

I think its the diff or the bushings. I checked for the obvious and its all tight, the bushing looks a little worn but its not busted.

      I'm with that too.

Since i've checked everything down there, I just decided to deal with it. :D

Yeah, I really don't care because obviously its not something major or pressing. I just deal.

i actuall bought the car with the set up already installed (heavily modded!!!), i haven't really done anything to the car yet, except slotted/drilled rotors and carbon metalic pads other than clear up some really shotty work, on the install end of the stand alone....bad butt connects and twisted wires w/ electrical tape were EVERYWHERE! i don't know why anybody would spend the kind of $ that was spent on the car and do such bad work??? i am building custom ft and rear porsche brakes set-ups for it right now. just ordered a PLX wideband and gauge so i can actually tune it. next week i am installing recaros and schroth ralley 3 autocontrols.
btw...this setup is NOT a bolt-in!!! you need to relocate the p/s fluid res. and make a new bracket (not just zip-tie it to a hose), and it partially blocks the upper heater hose outlet on the fire wall..i am sorting this out right now.

ok, i found the source of MY clunk today...and this one is pretty stupid, but the front diff mount bolts had slightly backed off, but i couldn't tell until i power washed the bottom of my car. when i cleaned away the crud from the sub frame there was a SMALL gap on both of the flanges, thightened it up and no more clunk at all. just another idea.

Yeah TJ, I didn't read the thread, but make sure ALL of your diff mounting hardware is nice and VERY snug... be sure to check all four bolts as well as the mount's bolt. My 318 developed a very similar clunk and I found all the bolts nice and loose, one ready to fall out. Replaced it and torqued 'em all down, no more clunk.
