well gosh you aren't to bright. The solid rear subframe mounts stiffen up the rear end some much that you don't really need stiff sways at all, you can almost just unhook them.
wtf?

That makes absolutely 0 sense. Please ellaborate on exactly why that happens and maybe I will see your point, but sway bars aren't there because there is flex in the subframe.
listen ok, I don't really like to quote my grandfather b/c people don't like it but thats besides the point. I was talking to him about them and he said that when they put solid rear subframe mounts on their race e30's they unhooked the rear sways b/c it made the rear end that much stiffer and more responsive. He told me that they were fine to run on the street, like they won't break anything. But I forgot to ask about HOW harsh it would be on the street. That is why I brought it up here.

I've got an E30 race car with solid mounts. Normally the car is trailered to race tracks. But sometimes I run the car on a public roads in the off season just to circulate the fluids. Car has Ground Control AD shocks and 650/900 springs. Needless to say, the car is stiff.
Anyway, I can't image such things on an E30 that was a daily driver. When I tool around the race E30 to warm the fluids, everything about driving the car is a PITA on public roads.
On a perfectly smooth race track the car is awesome, but out on public roads I just creep it over imperfections in the road or the car just bumps and jumps over everything.
But I know people with nearly this kind of stuff on their street E30s, and they like it. Goes back to personal preference. I like my race E30 set stiff, but I like my street E30 soft. But I'm also getting old. :-)

Has anyone had any work done there? I'm debating on just trailering my rolling E30 chassis up there and just paying them to finish it. Just wondering if they do good work.
i may be a couple days late on this thread but i just read that and about pissed my pants laughing
funny thing is the same could be said about your shitbox. My air dam isn't even for my car and it fits better than your rear apron that is MADE for your car. Not to mention the REALLY long chrome tips that sticks 8 inches out of your back end. :loco:
