I'm expecting the rear kit any day now. Have got a 200 km ( 120 miles ) race in january and the bigbrake kit is needed! ;)

Hi BMWPower. Yup, the brackets are stainless steel. As far as stress testing, I haven't been reported any failure on them. Don't worry. They are quite sturdy. Every new generation sees improvements. The latest e30 brackets are way easier to install as they come threaded.
And let's not forget a rear kit is also available. 11.75"x 1.25" (300mm x 32mm) with 4 pistons calipers. The only off-the-shelf kit in the world I think. And as you can see, the stainless brackets are way thicker than the original mounting tabs on the trailing arm.

Nice. Any chance on making an E34 kit?
Maybe I missed it, but are the brackets stainless? Any stress testing on these parts?

Lee, you're an asshole... :p The more pictures you post of your kits the more I WANT ONE! I don't really NEED ONE, but I WANT ONE! Damn you... Hopefully the american dollar turns around a bit by spring...Leave a comment:

Those look so sweet. Can't wait to get mine. Time to start mapping out all of my upgrades..Leave a comment:

No change in brake bias. Even tested at high speed track events.
No need to change master cylinder.
No need to change the brake booster.
The brake pedal will be much shorter and firmer, even with stock MC.
No need to spend another $150 on a 25mm MC.

Any changes in braking bias needed? Mods to master cylinder or booster (or a different one) needed?Leave a comment:

Yeah, if you don't plan it out you can end up doing the same upgrade multiple times, something I learned the hard way. Plus you have make sure you do things that will be EFFECTIVE and aren't just shiny bolt-ons. There are a lot of things you will never ever see after they've been installed but make a world of difference in the driving experience. It helps to have a good shop to help you along your journey (or in my case, work for a good shop) but with some careful research and a bit of logic you should be fine. Feel free to hit me up if you need an opinion!Leave a comment:

That is a good idea. I should map out my upgrades as well. I feel like I want to do all these things and it gets very overwhelming and VERY expensive in a hurry.
Oh well this is the disease and we have all caught it. I don't want to find a cure.Leave a comment:

UUC is also making a kit in a similar vane to Lee's Sport kit for a few bucks less but after the research I've done it seems like you get what you pay for. I'm 90% sure I'll pick up one of Lee's kits at some point in '08 but I just have to map out my upgrades a little more so I don't overspend in areas I don't need to.
I don't NEED a BBK by any stretch of the imagination but being a tech I get to drive a lot of cars that are nicer than mine and there is a particular M Coupe that has become my benchmark for my e30. My suspension is there, I just need brakes and power now... :-)Leave a comment:

WOW. I will definitely be purchasing some brakes here come next fall probably. Thanks a lot.
By the way, AWESOME JOB hooking up all the 4-luggers around the world. These need to go in my E30.Leave a comment:

Hi longms..
Here's the website. Prices are of a year ago when the US $ was strong. Expect to pay 10% more. Currently updating the website.
And here's the development album (about 400 pictures that depict the various steps in the development). I believe I produce the only full-race kit using 32mm thick rotors in the world for non-M e30s, that fits a 15" wheel. No need to go to 5 lug swap to get better brakes.

Just get one of Lee's kits. The development is already done and it will probably be a damn sight cheaper...Leave a comment:

Meric...I am very interested. How much would the kit cost from you??? Would someone just have to order the calipers from AP and they would match your kit?Leave a comment:
