    Breaking Axles HELP!!!!!

So i bought a 323i euro e30 and its pretty beat up so i decided to make it into a drift car so i ended up welding the diff and started beating on it. about 3 days later i broke an axle on the OPPOSITE side on the hub CV. So i just thought OK its the original axle and just broke because of old age and stress. The second axle i put in broke because of an instalation error 15 secs after installing. The third axle i had to shake weight it into the hub far enough to pull the rest through with the bolt. That broke 1 day later on the outer CV joint where the hub is.
I honestly dont know why im breaking the axles. The welded diff doest help put it shouldnt cause it. People drift with welded diff all the time with no issues. Why is mine always breaking.?

Are these used axles of unknown origin you're putting in? Were the splines in the hub cleaned of corrosion? How forceful did you have to be on the CV in order to get them in? Drifting and drag racing are the best ways to break cars even without having an off. It's just hard on every part of the vehicle and things will break.

What kind of axles are you using?

They were clean. I know that it puts stress on the car but I bought it as a drift car so I know the concequences. There from O'Riles

theres your problems. Would be better to get them off a junker. Used oem parts are still better then new aftermarket imo.

Depends on what part, and what brand you're replacing them with.

                    Solution: stop drifting.

If the welded diff is built properly and the cv axel shafts are genuine bmw and in decent order; a stock m20 engine car can drift all day long without issues. Clutch kick on the way to get Philz coffee; slide through university pedestrians if so desired.

I dd'ed a welded in my e30 for a couple months; nothing ever broke. The vibrations were violent and unscrewed the left cv axle on the freeway once; welded lets you drive home with only one cv attached in 1wd mode

You get what you pay for...OEM axles weight lots more and are way heavier than after market junk. The steel is not the same at all..GL
