    Treehouse Racing Bushing insert alternatives

...so I'm normally not too cheap but I will be replacing the bushings in some Treehouse Racing eyeball arms for all of $10. Cool. Go on their site and shipping from TN to SC for what can only weigh a couple ounces is $15!!! Last I checked even a flat rate box would only be $5 and some change.

Just checking to see if any alternatives exist before being bent over. Kind of put me off. Petty yes, but still $15 to ship a couple small pieces of plastic that cost $10?! Yes I called to confirm and they stated it was a flat rate.

    Thanks!

You could buy OEM BMW E30 M3 bushings for $40 and sell the Treehouse. :D

You'd have to get the dimensions and have someone machine a set out of delrin or whatever material you chose. Would most definitely cost much more then $25.

$10 is stupid cheap for new bushings, considering alternative CAB's. Even $25 would be pretty damn cheap for new bushings. Pretend that you're paying $25 for bushings with free shipping. Problem solved.

True but have a S50 swap so the extra clearance would help a ton! Already have some Condor delrin and pwoerflex centered so thosemight be an option later.

I agree! I wasn't trying to bash them or anything but paying more for shipping for some plastic just put me off a bit. No worries though I bought them anyways ;)

bimmerworld sells the replacement bushings too, no idea if the shipping is any better. $15 sounds pretty damn cheap to me though
