Why would anyone use an air hammer to knock the bolts out? Granted I have only had to removed a couple of rear subframes, but all you have to do is get a decent sized hammer and a couple of good whacks and the bolt is free.Eric Giles

After doing about six cars I can now get the bushings out in a matter of minutes. All I need is a torch, an air chisle, and the optimum environment. Remove the subframe and put it in a vise, There are two dimples on each sleeve, those are what actually holds the bushing in. heat the rubber until the center sleeve separates, then cut the bushing sleeve away from the subframe by working the chisle in a downward angled motion. Once you have cut the sleeve away from the dimples, a little force should drop it out. And I use anti sieze on EVERYTHING! I love that little Grey bottle!Yours truly,
Rich
