Did I not remove all of the subframe bushing?? please help. :(

Hey guys, went to press in the new condor bushings but they seem a little large. It appears there is a metal collar with a little rubber around inside the subframe hole. Please tell me I don't have to pull that. I will try to upload pictures. It it's got a round washer flare at the end.

Really don't want to ruin condors bushings by forcing them in . Do you guys know what I'm talking about??

Yeah by the sound of it, you didn't take out the metal sleeve that was part of the original bushing.

That's exactly what happened. Cut most of the way through it with a hack saw then fold it in on itself from the outside with a chisel. It should cooperate if your cut is right

Agree with Jeff... this is common. Had it happen with both bushings when I did mine.

Since all of my hand saws just got their teeth filed down by trying I went to a friend with a press. He didn't use it, just used a flame cutter cut those out and out the bushings in for me. Going back together and more than excited. Just updated. Thanks guys for the confirmation.
