Everything works. PSOC sensing thermocouple and driving the 7 segment LED display. Very cool. Picture does not do the display justice. Looks more "red" in person, with the background much blacker. Camera != Eyeballs.
Now I have to cram it into a nice small package. Don't worry. Dev Kits are big and clunky, but it's just a few chips. Trick is using the right ones.
Power Supply board is coming along. This will make nice clean 5V from 12V automotive DC.
Subscribed. I dig the color coded concept more than digital, which if you have logging would give the details. At a glance out of corner of eye while driving color coded would be much more useful imho... sweet project! Nice cad work on that board too!
Thanks man. Still in progress. I can easily add an RGB LED on the front for quick reference while driving. (BLUE=Cold, Green=Ok, Yellow=Hot, Red=Over Temp) Would use rotary push button to set the ranges.
